Meet The Executive Board
My name is Audrey Fields, and I am your 2022-23 Vice President. I am a senior in the College of ACES with a major in Animal Sciences - Pre-Veterinary Concentration with a minor in Business. Next year, I will work towards my Masters before heading off to Veterinary School. In addition to my role through Phi Eta Sigma, I am also an Animal Science Ambassador, the New Member Educator for the Association of Technology in Medicine, and a member of the Pre-Vet Club, Alpha Zeta Morrow Chapter, Companion Animals Club, and 4Paws for Ability here on campus. In addition to participating in RSOs, I teach as a Red Cross Instructor through the Risk Management department at the Campus Rec and work at the UIUC Horse Research Farm. In my free time, you will find me at the gym or in the kitchen, baking or exercising my stress out. I am very excited to be your 2022-23 Vice President for Phi Eta Sigma, and I hope to serve you well.

Hi Everyone! My name is Catherine Cabrera, and I’m a senior majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology Honors with a minor in Creative Writing. I am also involved in the James Scholar program, Mentors in Medicine, The Education Justice Project, and ProjectRead. In my free time, I enjoy water skiing, playing beach volleyball, and fishing. This year, I’m excited to see what Phi Eta Sigma can accomplish!

Hi! My name is Elmira and I am a senior majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical/Community. In addition to Phi Eta Sigma, I am also involved in AMSA (American Medical Student Association), GMT (Global Medical Training), and SJP (Students for Justice in Palestine). Additionally, I am part of the Cognitive Neuroimaging Lab. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, working out, and volunteering. I am excited for the year and my role as treasurer for PES.
Hi my name is Taylor Yen and I’m a Senior majoring in Industrial Organizational psychology with a minor in business and leadership studies. At the University of Illinois I’m involved in several clubs such as Undergraduate Psychology Association, Human Resources and Psychology Organization, Undergraduate Society of Human Resource Management, and Her Campus. In my free time I like to travel around the world, workout, try out different foods/cuisines, and I love to experiment with makeup products and fashion. I look forward to serving as this year's Social Media Coordinator and can’t wait to meet everyone in person!

Hi, my name is Jordyn Mecher and I will be a senior within the college of LAS as a Political Science major with a minor in History. Outside of PES, I'm a campaign intern for the US House representative from Illinois' 3rd congressional district and also work as a research intern for a professor in the department of Political Science. In my free time, I enjoy reading, bike riding, and painting! I have worked for my family's business for 4 years along with working for Aldi for the last year. I'm super excited to begin another great year of giving back to the Champaign-Urbana community through the Service and Philanthropy committee of PES! My name is Anahi Rodriguez and I am currently a rising senior studying econometrics and political science. This will be my second year working with the PES board. Last year, I was part of the social committee where I helped plan many fun get-togethers such as pumpkin carving and arts & crafts night. This school-year I will be PES's secretary.
My hobbies include playing tennis, crafting, keeping up with the news, gardening, and statistics.
I'm currently interested in the civic tech space and hope to one day work as a data scientist working to influence public policies!
